The first restaurant I visited in Deggendorf was Amelie, and that was almost 3 years ago! even then, the service, the food and the atmosphere were super cool! This year, 2020, I can say with complete conviction that you have to go to the Amelie when you are in town. The staff is still very competent, courteous, usually friendly (sometimes a few of them are annoyed, but I think) and the food, WOW, to put it simply: large (or small) portions are offered, delicious. I recommend trying the tarte flambée, salads, pasta dishes and the cocktails! Then you can pay for one with the card at Amelie, what more could you want? 100% absolutely recommendable, An Gudn!

Was here today, got drinks, but no interest in asking for food, gave clear signals that I still want something, but no reaction, the staff looked the other way, won't go to this place again, the service under all cannon. Have been here many times, but the service has never been as bad as it is today. The food was always good, it's a shame that it wasn't possible to eat today.

Sitting in the beer garden on Father's Day. Lots of service staff. But unfortunately they forget our drinks. No excuse for the forgotten drinks. After our next one was empty, we have been sitting for 25 minutes and no one comes up with the idea of ​​asking us if we want to have a drink.

An amazing place as well as tasteful food quality and service

It's okay but we basically avoided the place after our visit. We just wanted drinks to begin with but we're made to feel like the worse people ever, dispite others doing exactly the same thing. We got poor service from the older waitress who works there. In the end we ordered food because we were hungry and it was ok. However, the waitress was extremely rude and we difdid give her a tip in the end. We're giving a three star because the other waitress/waiters were good. Wouldn't be the first place I would recommend.

IMPORTANT INFO: ALL EXCEPT FOR 1 5-STAR REVIEW ARE WITHOUT COMMENTS FROM NEW ACCOUNTS. PROBABLY FAKE While the staff is sufficiently friendly, everyone just seems to work half assed. From getting a table to ordering everything just takes forever. The food is also very.... well varying.... some dishes (we were 5 ppl) were very good at least some aspects of them. Others were just lazy.... e.g. the ratatoullie was the culinarical equivalancy of homeopathic placebo sleeping pills. Also as many ppl mentioned before me the dishes are freaking miniatures. Though that's a french thing i guess. Don't come here!
